Katsuhiro Harada,King of Iron Fists

Katsuhiro Harada in the past he studied martial arts. He has graduated from university with a psychology degree.

After he graduated he started working for the video game company Namco. In the beginning he made his debut in Tekken as a voice actor.

From Tekken 3 he became the director of the series.

Tekken is translated as The King of Iron Fists.

The story takes place in the tournament of The King of Iron Fists.The players can choose the character they want.

The major plot of the series invloves the drama in the Mishima family.On the other hand we have the chance to explore the stories and motivations of the other characters.

Tekken became a success. It is one of the most popular fighting games along with other titles such as Street Fighter,The King of Fighters,Fatal Fury,Dead or alive and other titles.

My first experience with Tekken was when I watched an ova anime episode called Tekken:Motion picture.

My first experience with Tekken in the videogames was with Tekken 6. I started understanding why people like Tekken.

Tekken 6 was simple but fun at the same time.

However people started complaining for the last few entries of the series.Every person shares a different opinion and I respect it.

Even the greatest games have their flaws and it is natural.

On the 8th of December in 2025 Harada announced he is leaving from Bandai Namco.

According to sources,Harada mentioned he was going to leave from the company after Tekken 8. During the development of the game he experienced difficulties.

A percentage of people mentioned that Harada decided to leave because was affected by the death of Tomonobu Itagaki,the creator of Dead or alive series.

They attended to the same university. The two men were rivals but they respected each other. There was no grudge and no hatred between them.

Tekken without Katsuhiro Harada won’t be the same.

We don’t know if the story of Tekken can continue without Harada.
